Manuel and Estela Santos opened a mail order school supply business in March 1984 called E & M School Supplies in Melvin, TX. This business grew and the need for a retail establishment soon became evident. The retail store was opened January 2, 1985 in San Angelo, TX and was named Angelo School and Teacher Supplies.
